Water damage may occur in many different ways, including; a burst pipe, broken feed line, or sewer back-up. No matter the source, water can cause severe damage to a building. Initial damage from a water loss can include fallen drywall and the swelling of particle board products. Normally, we are able to respond within one hour and provide emergency services.
Quick response to a water loss is critical as the damage worsens over time. 'Secondary damage' is damage that takes place due to the environmental conditions (e.g. excessive humidity) within a building after a water loss has occurred. If the water loss is not properly dealt with in a timely manner, the resulting secondary damage can be more severe than the initial damage from the water itself. Costly issues, such as mold growth, can arise within 72 hours in extremely high humidity conditions. In order to mitigate the severity of a water loss, our project managers and technicians have been trained in water restoration and applied structural drying.
Returning the indoor environment to a normal state requires the correct mix of drying equipment, monitoring, and time. Rest assured our team will stabilize the environment in a timely manner and minimize the impact of the water loss.
