After a fire has occurred, our primary objective is securing the premises. We will immediately board-up unprotected openings to prevent trespassing and vandalism. Depending on the severity of the fire, we will also have the structural integrity of the building checked.
It is important to note that smoke and other residues will continue to penetrate and damage exposed surfaces. In order to prevent further damage to the contents and/or personal items within the building, the site must be cleaned. At Walton Restoration, our technicians have received training in fire and smoke restoration, as well as odor control. We will use this training to return your property to a before loss condition.
In the most severe circumstances the building may be a complete loss and have to be taken down. Our preference is to restore a building wherever possible as this allows us to return the insured to their premises, and back to day-to-day life, in the shortest amount of time.
Our goal is to provide emergency services that mitigate the effects of the original fire, and then restore the premises to their before loss condition in a professional and timely manner.
